Project Update:
The painters have completed the exterior white coatings, and the Warrenville logo is scheduled to be finished by the end of July. Some interior coating work still remains and will be completed in the coming weeks.
ComEd is scheduled to install a new utility pole in early August to provide power to the water tower. Once the pole is in place, the contractor will run conduit from the pole to the new transformer. After that, ComEd will return to install the electrical wiring and complete the final connections.
Project Description:
City Council awarded a $4,235,000 contract to Maguire Iron on February 5, 2024. The silt fence was installed the week of July 1, and the concrete foundation construction began the week of July 8. Field erection of the water tower above ground is expected to occur between December 2024 and March 2025. The project completion date is August 31, 2025.

Two lot subdivision with a 500,000 gallon City water tower with an overall tank height of ± 157', and related pavement in proposed 1.12 acre Lot 2, zoned B-4, Motorist Service District.
