13. Tree Replacement Selection Options

    Planting is at the discretion of the Public Works Department to ensure a suitable location and environment for trees.

    1. I would like the City of Warrenville to plant a tree in the Right-of-Way (ROW), with my first choice, as specified below.
    2. If my first choice tree is not available, I would like the City to plant a tree in the ROW, with my second choice, as specified below.
    3. If my preferred tree is not available, the City can make a recommendation based on the trees available at the nursery. Please contact me to discuss options and next steps.
    4. If my preferred tree(s) is(are) not available, I will wait and contact the city a later time to check the status of tree availability.

    Residents must commit to watering their parkway tree. The City will include a water bag, and residents should water their tree twice a week.

    I understand that, if this tree dies due to lack of water and the City removes it, I will then have the choice of no tree, or I can pay for a new replacement tree.
