Photo of how to prepare brush piles

Brush pickup begins this month,  starting September 8th. Please check the City’s brush pickup webpage (LINK) for instructions on how to prepare a brush pile and to view the collection schedule. Brush pickup is limited to trimmings (not tree removal) from bushes or shrubs, and branches from trimming and pruning trees. Other items such as logs, root balls, stumps, lumber, etc. will NOT be picked up. The brush pile must not be larger than 3-feet high by 8-feet wide by 15-feet long. Each branch or limb must not exceed 8-inches in diameter. Cut ends must extend toward the street. Brush piles that do not conform to these standards will not be picked up.
