[ARCHIVED] City Tree Inventory

Davey Resource Group, Inc Logo

The City is undergoing a tree inventory. Beginning Tuesday, February 11th, certified arborists from the Davey Resource Group, Inc (DRG) will be geolocating, assessing the condition, and taking measurements of over 7,500 trees throughout the City. This work will take a few weeks to complete. DRG employees will be wearing work attire with the DRG company logo and driving a SUV vehicle marked with the company logo as well.  City-owned trees are similar to other City assets such as sewer lines, water system, and street lights.  A tree inventory will help the City understand the diversity of its trees, and develop a proactive management plan to maintain the trees through their lifespans. Questions may be directed to Kristin Youngmeyer at 630-393-9050, or kyoungmeyer@warrenville.il.us TreeINventoryDaveyVehicleMan measuring the width of a tree trunk
