The City is considering changes to parking rules on several east side streets, and we’d like to hear from you.
Some residents have asked us to move the current “No Parking” zone on Tinker Avenue (between Central and Galusha) from the east side to the west side of the street. Their main concern is that parked cars are blocking mailboxes on the east side.
City staff also believe two other nearby streets could benefit from a similar change, even though we haven’t received any formal requests yet:
- Melcher Avenue – switching “No Parking” to the east (mailbox) side
- Virginia Avenue – switching “No Parking” to the east (mailbox) side
These possible changes will be discussed at the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, August 11. But before then, we’d like to hear your thoughts!
Please share your feedback by Friday, July 11.
