Did you know that all solicitors in the City require a permit?
Solicitors must apply for and be approved for a permit to solicit in Warrenville.
Additionally, door-to-door solicitors within the City must honor "No Solicitors" signs and should have a visible badge/credentials and a valid City permit. A City solicitor badge indicates that the solicitor is licensed and registered with the City, but is not an endorsement of the individual, company, products or services.
• The Police Department fingerprints, photographs, and performs background checks on all applicants
• Solicitors can go door-to-door seven days a week and on holidays from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
