The City’s award-winning, fun-filled family event celebrates the police, community, and local business partnerships.

NNO activities include:

  • music
  •  face painting
  •  vendor giveaways
  •  activities for kids
  •  demonstrations
  •  food truck
  •  and more!

NNO, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023, is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Millions of neighbors take part in NNO across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October).

The City of Warrenville received its fourth consecutive NNO National Award in 2022. Award recipients compete with similar-sized communities across the nation. The award selection process is based on community and business participation, media promotion, activities, and law enforcement organization and participation.
