The City learned that Regal Theater has changed ownership to Cinemark Theaters. The theater will close temporarily to undergo some improvements.

indicates Cinemark Cantera Warrenville will open August 4, but City staff havenot verified that information.
However, Cinemark has updated its website to include a Warrenville location and its features, which include:

- Cinemark XD auditorium, featuring a state-of-the-art projector and custom surround sound system.
