Warrenville Park District, in partnership with the City, plans to improve Cerny Park.
- Residents viewed preliminary concepts and shared their thoughts at a public input meeting Thursday, July 20.

- ballfield improvements
- batting cage
- shelter renovations and path connections
- basketball court color coat
- pickleball courts
- horseshoe improvements
- game tables
- baggo
- bocce ball
- table tennis
The City and Park District will apply for an Open Space and Land Acquisition Development grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to help pay for the project.
The next step in the project is a review of revised concepts to include in the grant application. The review will occur at the Warrenville Park District Board of Commissioner’s Meeting at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 24. The concepts will be based on feedback from the community, as well as Park District and City staff.
