The U.S. Marine Corps 75th Anniversary Toys for Tots campaign is in full swing!   Please drop off your donations to the Police Department, 3S245 Warren Avenue, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and until noon on Friday, December 9.  Toys are being requested for children between the ages of newborn and 12-years old, and must be in their original packaging.

Monetary donations may be made online through the Marine Corps Toys for Tots secure website, and will be used to purchase toys for children within DuPage County when shortages occur. To make sure your online donation stays local, please enter IL-Warrenville as “Your Local Campaign Designation.”  The Police Department will not be able to accept monetary donations.

If you have questions, please call Community Service Officer Perry at 630-393-2131.

Here are some helpful donation guidelines from the DuPage County Marine Corps:

Accepted: Hand-held electronics, jewelry sets, cosmetics, arts and crafts kits, model kits, creative/educational toys, and athletic equipment

Avoid:  Gift cards (consider a donation online) or toys that could lead to a choking hazard

Not Accepted:  Food, clothing, used toys/stuffed animals, and realistic-looking weapons
