[ARCHIVED] Crossing Guard Positions Available

Join our team! The City of Warrenville has openings for Crossing Guards. 

  • Part-time, at the start and end of each school day
  • Greet and guide pedestrians
  • Stop traffic from entering an intersection while pedestrians cross the street

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with children and adults effectively
  • Physical requirements: ability to learn, understand, and adhere to all applicable safety precautions and procedures: stand for long periods of time; work unsupervised; and hold a five-pound stop sign
  • Must pass a background check
