New owners invite residents to take a short online survey
A new, family-owned grocery store will open in Warrenville in spring 2026.
Raj Patel and his brother purchased the business formerly known as Tom’s Market at 2S501 IL Route 59. They plan to reopen the store as Warrenville Fresh Market in March or April 2026. Please note: The store will remain open as the new owners work on renovations and store upgrades.
They currently operate two small grocery stores in Bensenville, and Warrenville is their biggest and most exciting project yet!
Changes ahead:
- February 1: Expect new, competitive prices on existing products.
- February & March: They will add new inventory throughout the store, starting with international foods and a large variety of liquor, beer, and wine.
- Coming in March: A brand-new fresh meat department/Carnicería. This includes a new meat case, new equipment, and more variety.
- Renovations: Floors are being redone right now and will be finished in about 3 weeks. New shelves and new coolers are also coming in the next few weeks and will be transitioned in aisle by aisle.
