2. iPhone user
   You must schedule you inspection by telephone (630-393-9050) prior to submitting video inspections. After notifying Community Development of your inspection request, enter the required information below. The form will not submit until the information is provided. Then click "Choose File" under “Upload video here”. On your phone, a message should pop up “Take Photo or Video” select video. Now video the area work area. When done click “use video”. If you need to add photos or additional videos, then use any of the “Additional photos or videos” boxes on this form. When complete, click the submit button. You’ll be notified of the inspection results within the following business day.
4. Android user
   Enter the required information below. The form will not submit until the information is provided. Then Click Choose file under “Upload video here”. On your phone, a message should pop up “Choose an action” select “Camcorder”. Now video the area work area. When done click “OK” and the video will automatically upload to the form. If you need to add photos or additional videos, then use any of the “Additional photos or videos” boxes on this form. When complete, click the submit button. You’ll be notified of the inspection results within the following business day.
6. The Video
   The video should provide the inspector with close up views to include details of product markings, connections, joints, and fasteners. Provide a ruler in the video to indicate measurements of materials, heights, and clearances. Please understand that inspector may need to contact you for clarification or focus of the item being videoed.
