Can the City help with a complaint against my utility provider (ComEd or NICOR)?
The City has no regulatory authority over these utility providers. Residents may contact the Administration Department at (630) 393-9427, who may be able to provide some assistance in getting an issue resolved. However, an official complaint must be filed with these service providers' regulatory agency, the Illinois Commerce Commission. Information on filing a complaint can be found at www.icc.illinois.gov.
