Ride DuPage Transportation Program

Quality of life for Warrenville residents is impacted by a variety of factors, one of them being access to transportation. It is especially important for residents 65 and older and residents with disabilities. In an ongoing effort to evaluate the services offered to these residents, the City launched a one-year pilot program with Ride DuPage, which began on April 25, 2019. Ride DuPage offers transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities, age 16 and over. This pilot program is in partnership with the City of West Chicago and Winfield Township. The City’s A.C.O.R.N. van program will continue to operate during this time. The purpose of running both programs simultaneously is to gather data that will assist the City in determining the appropriate level of service and cost-effectiveness of the programs.
