Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans Day honors people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is a federal holiday observed on November 11, also marking the anniversary of the end of World War I. In fact, major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect.

Join VFW Post 8081 Commander Dan Leonard, American Legion Post 589 Commander Vince Morello, Warrenville veterans, Mayor Brummel, and other City officials at the Warrenville Veterans Memorial, located at the intersection of Stafford Place and Warren Avenue on Sunday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. for a ceremony to honor local veterans.
