Important Update About Early Voting Schedule

Due to unresolved candidate objections currently pending before the Appellate Court, early voting and vote-by-mail in DuPage County is expected to begin early next week (the week of February 9, 2026). 

The date for early voting and vote-by-mail will be updated on the DuPage County Clerk’s website following the court rulings and finalization of the ballot.

The Primary Election is March 17.

Offices on the ballot include:

• U.S. Senate

• U.S. House

• Governor and Lt. Governor

• Attorney General

• Secretary of State

• Other state executive offices

• State Senate

• State House

The General Election is November 3, 2026.

DuPage County Stormwater Management invites residents to share input on the Countywide Water Quality Program through February 17, 2026.

County Water Quality Program Call for Public Comment 

DuPage County Stormwater Management is accepting public comment on the Water Quality Program through February 17.

This program brings together DuPage County and 41 municipalities and townships, including Warrenville, to meet federal water quality requirements and protect local water resources.

Residents can visit a virtual public meeting space to:

• Watch a brief presentation

• Review the full program plan

• Submit comments electronically

City Meeting Schedule for February 2026

Here are City Council and Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals meetings this month:

City Council, 6:30 p.m.

February 2, 9 & 17*

* Tuesday meeting because City offices will be closed Monday, February 16 for Presidents Day.

Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals, 7:00 p.m.

February 5 & 19

City Council Meeting Time Update 

Starting January 2026, City Council meetings begin at 6:30 p.m., instead of 7:00 p.m.

This change goes along with a new meeting format that:

• Combines City Council and Standing Committee discussions

• Reduces the number of meetings residents need to attend

• Allows more time for discussion during regular City Council meetings

City Council meetings continue to be held on the first and third Mondays of each month.

More Time to Apply for the Illinois EV Rebate!

The Illinois EPA Electric Vehicle (EV) Rebate Program application period has been extended through May 31, 2026, giving Illinois residents extra time to apply for rebates on new or used electric vehicles.

The current application cycle is now open, with $14 million available in rebates this fiscal year.

What’s new for FY26:

• Vehicle price cap: $80,000

• Rebate amount: $2,000 for eligible EVs ($4,000 for low-income applicants)

• New income cap for applicants

• Updated definition of low-income applicant

• Extended 180-day window to apply after purchase

• Applications and instructions are now available online.

The Warrenville Police Department lobby is available as a safe, public place for residents to complete online sales and purchases.

• Location: 3S245 Warren Avenue

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Closed on City holidays)

What to know:

• Officers will not take part in transactions or verify items, payments, or authenticity.

• Firearms, hazardous materials, oversized items, and animals are not permitted.

Presidents Day Closings

City offices and the Police Department lobby will be closed on Monday, February 16 for Presidents Day. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• Garbage collection will stay on the regular Thursday/Friday schedule.

• The City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m.

• Need police assistance while the lobby is closed? Use the red telephone between the front entrance doors or call 9-1-1 from your cell phone. Emergency response remains unaffected.
