City Services Made Easy With Our Citizen Engagement App

We’ve heard your questions — here are a couple of quick clarifications about using the app to pay your utility bill:

NEW: Why don't I receive a confirmation number for a phone payment?

BS&A, the City’s utility billing provider, has confirmed this feature isn’t available yet but is under development. We will make an announcement when this feature becomes available.

Do I have to enter my account number and PIN every time?

No. You only need your PIN the first time you set up your BS&A account. After that, you log in with the user ID and password you created.

* If you choose not to set up an account, you’ll need your account number and PIN each time you pay as a guest.

Where can I find the PIN to my account number?

Find the PIN on the top portion of your water statement to the right of the barcode, in a small font.

Can I use my bank’s online payments (ACH)?

Yes. The system accepts automatic payments from your bank account or credit card once you create an account in BS&A.

Fall Hydrant Flushing

The City began its annual fall hydrant flushing program September 29.

Work will continue through October 31, 2025, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Hydrant flushing is a regular maintenance activity that helps:

• Remove built-up sediment from water mains

• Maintain water quality

• Ensure hydrants are working properly for fire protection

During flushing, water may look cloudy or discolored, or contain some sediment for a short time. Running your faucets will help clear it up.

Water is safe to drink during this time, even if it looks different.

U Drive. U Text. U Pay. – Campaign Results

The Warrenville Police Department partnered with the Illinois Department of Transportation and law enforcement agencies statewide to target distracted driving in September.

Officers issued the following citations during the campaign:

• 15 citations for hands-free traffic violations

• 4 Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle citations

• 1 Expired Registration citation

• 1 Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration citation

• 1 Disobey Traffic Control Device citation

• 1 No Valid Driver’s License arrest

“Driver distraction is a persistent issue in Warrenville that often has life-altering consequences,” said Sgt. Highland. “Issuing a citation is a proven way to get motorists to pay attention or pay the price. This safety campaign may be over, but we will continue our efforts to stop motorists from engaging in this deadly behavior.”

This enforcement effort was funded with federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

• Distracted driving is dangerous and illegal. Pay attention or pay the price.
