Cerny Park Upgrades 

Big changes are coming to Cerny Park!

Starting Monday, April 7 (weather permitting), work will begin on a major improvement project that brings some exciting new features to the park, including:

βœ… A brand-new playground

⚾ Ballfield upgrades and new batting cage

πŸ€ Basketball court color coating

πŸ“ New pickleball courts

πŸ•οΈ Shelter renovations and improved paths

Construction will take place through August, depending on the weather. While the work is happening, some areas of the park may be closed for safety. 

NOTE: July 4th festivities and National Night Out in August will take place as usual at Cerny Park.

We appreciate your patience as we make Cerny Park even better for everyone!

Sign Recycling Event

DuPage County will host a Sign Recycling Event on April 11 & 12! 

Drop off your corrugated plastic or cardboard signs (like political signs) for freeβ€”metal stands accepted too, but please separate them before drop-off.

City Offices, Police Lobby Closed Friday, April 18

* City Hall and the Police Department lobby will close Friday, April 18 for the spring holiday.

* For emergency assistance during closed Police Department lobby hours, please use the red telephone located between the Department's front entrance doors or dial 9-1-1 from your cellular phone. 

* Police emergency response will not be affected
