Special Census: Last Chance to Take the Survey!

* Do you still need to take the Special Census?

* Call (630) 325-6850 between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to complete the census over the phone.  

* Responding is important, easy, safe, and only takes about 10 minutes!

Batavia Road Will Close to Traffic Monday, July 15

* Batavia Road between Warrenville Road and Manning Avenue will be closed to traffic starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15 for up to two weeks for construction. While Batavia Road is closed: 

* Residents, employees, and business customers may park on streets connecting to Batavia Road.

* Concrete sidewalk work will be completed before the road closes.

* We will work with the post office to ensure as few mail delivery disruptions as possible. 

* Garbage and recycling pickup will be scheduled for 6:00 a.m. on Friday mornings. 

* Other types of large deliveries should be planned outside of the road closure dates, if possible.

* If you have any special accessibility concerns for your home or business, please contact us as soon as possible so we can understand your needs and work with the contractor to address them.

July is Smart Irrigation Month

* WHAT: Up to 50% of water used outdoors is lost to wind, evaporation, and runoff. Smart irrigation practices conserve water and save money. 

* HOW: Avoid watering in the middle of the day when the hot sun will evaporate much of the water before it can get to thirsty plants.

Your landscape will typically require one inch of water a week, including rainfall, and that can vary depending on where you live, recent weather, and the plants in your landscape.
