Special Census Begins April 30

* The U.S. Census Bureau will send a letter with a link to the census survey, which begins April 30.

* Please respond as soon as you can. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

* ALL residents must respond to the 2024 Special Census, even if they participated in the 2020 Census.

* Do your part: Help the City get an accurate population count to be eligible for more state and federal money. That money pays for City services such as street repair, public safety, and more.

* More information at: Warrenville's Special Census

Spring Fire Safety Tips

* From Warrenville Fire Protection District:

* Check grills for grease, rust, worn parts, insects, and other debris before use.

* Make sure windows open and close properly in case they are needed as emergency exits.

* Clean up work areas, and put away dangerous tools, matches, and other items that should not be accessible to children.

* Allow ashes from your fire pit to cool before properly disposing of them. Keep them away from structures and any other combustible material.

* Clean all debris from your dryer's link trap and exhaust duct.
