* Join us at a hiring session for Special Census field workers at 11:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, City Hall Council Chambers, 28W701 Stafford Place.

* Learn what Census field workers do

* Apply for a job on-site

* U.S. Census Bureau staff are available to answer questions and help with applications

* Bring a laptop if you can!

City Zoning Code Update Open House: Monday, February 26

* WHAT: Warrenville by Design Open House: Monday, February 26 from 3:30-7:30 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 28W701 Stafford Place.

* WHY: The City wants to update its zoning code to regulate future development before a developer comes forward with a project. 

* JOIN US: Drop in at your convenience to view the draft zoning overlay for two main areas of the City: Butterfield Road and Batavia Road, and Warrenville Road and Batavia Road. Staff and consultants will be available to answer questions.

State of the City Address: Wednesday, February 28 

* Hear about the accomplishments during the past year, get updates about current projects, and learn about the City's goals for the current year.

* 6:00 p.m., Refreshments sponsored by Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce.

* WHAT: Whether you own a food truck or want to hire a food truck for your event, the food truck needs a City of Warrenville permit. 

* WHEN: Only one permit required for the whole year.  

* WHY: Permitting is focused on safety and includes an inspection by Warrenville Fire Protection District.
