Get Extra Income and Flexible Hours With the Census Bureau 

* The U.S. Census Bureau needs field staff to collect data for the 2024 Warrenville Special Census.

* The City will conduct a special census to get an updated population count.

* Pay starts at $16.14 - $26.16 per hour. Field reps work 25-40 hours each week when neighbors are home, usually evenings and weekends.

Snow Kidding: Winter Weather Reminders

* Do not park on city streets when there is 2 inches or more of snow.

* No on-street parking for a period of 24 hours after 2 inches or more of snow falls - or until the street has been cleared.

* Crews plow primary streets first, followed by side streets, cul-de-sacs, and school crossings near schools.

* The City does not clear snow from residential and business sidewalks.

DU-COMM is Hiring for Telecommunicators

* WHO: DU-COMM communications center serves 44 Police and Fire/EMS agencies in DuPage County. 

* WHAT: They are recruiting qualified applicants to join their team.

* DUTIES: 

  • Answer 9-1-1 telephones
  • Transmit vital information to emergency personnel via the radio
  • Relay information via the Computer-Aided Dispatch terminal
  • Monitor fire/burglar alarms
  • Answer administrative lines serving police/fire personnel

Blackwell Tubing Hill Will Open for the Season

* Snow means the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County can open the Blackwell Tubing Hill! 

* To get an alert when it's open, text the word TUBING to 866-743-7332. A text alert will only be sent on days that the tubing hill is declared open. 

* When the right weather conditions exist, the Tubing Hill is open on weekends and school holidays through February 25, 2024.
