October Celebrations 

* The City's Inclusion Diversity Equity and Awareness Commission (IDEC) honors federally recognized heritage and history months throughout the year as part of our commitment to building an inclusive community that values diversity. 

* In October, we recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day on October 10.

* In October we also celebrate:

German-American Heritage Month

Filipino-American Heritage Month 

Italian-American Heritage Month 

Polish-American Heritage Month 

* IDEC welcomes feedback, ideas, and suggestions to further the mission of inclusivity and respect for all in Warrenville. Submit comments to: idec@warrenville.il.us.

City Hosts Public Meeting for Route 59 Multi Paths Project

* WHEN: Thursday, October 12  

* TIME: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. 

* WHERE: Warrenville City Hall, 28W701 Stafford Place  

* WHAT: City staff will answer questions and discuss the need for the project, design options, right-of-way acquisition, and the construction schedule.
