* Did you know? There are Ride DuPage Bus/Taxi and Uber Programs for Warrenville seniors age 65 and older and people with disabilities.

* This includes Ride DuPage Bus/Taxi Service and a pilot program: Ride DuPage Uber Access.

Ready to Ruck the Ville? 

* WHAT: A "ruck" is a military style fast walk while carrying a weighted rucksack. In this case, the rucksack will contain food or items you want to donate to Immanuel Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital. 

* WHEN: Saturday, October 7, 8:30 a.m. sign-in/9:00 a.m. start, American Legion Post 589, 3S371 Mignin Drive.

Volunteers Needed for Trail Cleanup Day September 30 

* Help maintain Warrenville's beautiful trails, pathways, and sidewalks.

* The City of Warrenville's Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission seeks volunteers for a Fall Trail Cleanup of a section of the West Branch DuPage River Trail at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30.

Warrenville Historical Society Cemetery Walk Coming Soon 

* WHEN: Sunday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m., Warrenville Cemetery, on the north side of Warrenville Road between Warren and Curtis avenues.

* WHAT: Outdoor 45-minute tours start every 15 minutes beginning at 6:00 p.m., with the last tour at 7:15 p.m. 

* WHY: Luminaries will light the way to lantern-lit gravesites where you'll learn the history of someone that shaped our community.

* DETAILS: Cemetery Walk
