9/11 Remembrance Ceremony 

* WHEN: Monday, September 11 at 8:00 a.m.

* WHERE: Warrenville Fire Protection District, 3S472 Batavia Road.

* SCHEDULE: Welcome from the Fire Chief, flag raising honor guard, pledge, national anthem, invocation, remarks from the Mayor, Police Chief, and VFW Commander, a rifle salute, bell ringing ceremony, and Taps, followed by refreshments.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

* The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline offers 24/7 call, text, and chat access to trained crisis counselors. 

* They help people who experience suicidal thoughts, substance use, a mental health crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress.

* Free and confidential support available 24/7.

Volunteers Needed for Trail Cleanup Day September 30 

* Help maintain Warrenville's beautiful trails, pathways, and sidewalks.

* The City of Warrenville's Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission seeks volunteers for a Fall Trail Cleanup of a section of the West Branch DuPage River Trail at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30.
