* Citizen's Police Academy schedule: 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, September 13-November 15.

* Open to residents 18 and over and business owners.

City Hall Offices, Police Lobby Closed on Labor Day 

* City Hall offices and the Police Department lobby will close on Labor Day, Monday, September 4.

* Garbage collection will be delayed by one day that week. Thursday pick-up will occur Friday, September 8 and Friday pick-up will occur Saturday, September 9.

* For police assistance during closed lobby hours, please use the red telephone between the front entrance doors or dial 9-1-1 from your cell phone. Police emergency response will not be affected.

TAC Hotel Grant Applications Due September 11

* The Tourism and Arts Commission (TAC) Grant Applicant Deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11. 

* The mission of the grant program is to promote overnight stays in local hotels by providing funding assistance to events, projects, and capital expenses that bring people to Warrenville.

* WHEN: Zone 1 - Tuesday, September 5 (due to Labor Day on Monday, September 4)

Zone 4 - Monday, September 25
