Trailhead Ribbon Cutting Event is July 27

* The Trailhead Project improves a section of the Illinois Prairie Path at Illinois Route 56 and Batavia Road.

* There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27.

City Offices Closed July 4

* City Hall offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day.

* Garbage collection will be delayed by one day the week of July 3.

* For police assistance during closed lobby hours, please use the red telephone between the front entrance doors, or dial 9-1-1 from your cell phone.

Family Fun at the Warrenville Veteran's Center

* The Center has a full slate of events open to the community.

* July 1 is the “Happy Birthday America” party - sponsored by the Tattered Flag Initiative from 12:00-5:00 p.m.

* July 10 is Taco Night - sponsored by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Passport to Adventure

* Warrenville Historical Society offers a way to explore this summer.

* Stop by the museum Sundays or Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m., check out their new railroad exhibit, and get a free passport.
