In preparation of the future Trailhead Project, trees were removed along the Prairie Path between Rockwell Street and Batavia Road to prepare for the filling and realignment of the path. Once the project is complete, new trees will be planted along the path. The path will be approximately 35 feet closer to Route 56, but at least 50 feet from the pavement. This part of the Trailhead project will provide gathering space improvements as depicted in the conceptual drawing available on the project page.
