The Warrenville Police Department would like to remind everyone of the risk associated with Identity Theft. In a proactive stance against this type of crime, the Police Department will be conducting its 9th Annual Document Shredding Day event, to be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until twelve noon. The event will be held at the Warrenville Public Works facility, located at 3S346 Mignin Drive. This free event is open to all residents of the community. Residents are invited and encouraged to drop off paper documents they wish to have shredded. Due to the size of the event, residents are asked to please limit the quantity of items to be shredded to three banker-sized boxes.
Shredding will be conducted by Docu-Shred and may take place on-site. Questions regarding this event may be directed to Deputy Chief Jeff Jacobson at (630) 393-2131, or at jjacobson@warrenville.il.us.
