Virginia Avenue - Central Avenue Storm Sewer Improvements

Current Status: 

Construction is complete, as of August 2023.

Location: 

Central Avenue, and Virginia Avenue, and West Street.

Scope of Work: 

The City plans to make drainage and storm sewer replacement improvements along Virginia Avenue and Central Avenue, which includes the following work:

• Approximately 1,700 feet of storm sewer installation;
• 300 feet of storm sewer removal; 
• 3,900 square yards of asphalt roadway reconstruction;
• Driveway removal and replacement; and, 
• All incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project.    

Construction Contract Amount: 

A Lamp - $1,398,961

• Capital Maintenance Replacement Fund
• DuPage County ARPA Grant
