The owner of this property, Burgess Enterprises, is interested in moving forward with the development of an approximately 102,000 square foot, single story, mixed-use building with associated parking, private drive pavement, Stormwater Management, and landscaping improvements. The building would be approximately 26 feet in height. As currently proposed, the 50,000 square foot section of the building that would face Ferry Road would be built to accommodate the consolidation of Chicago Motor Cars three existing indoor, high end automobile car showroom and sales facilities. the remaining section of the building would be built to accommodate a yet unknown mix of commercial, office, and warehouse type tenants. It is anticipated that much of the remaining space would be utilized by businesses that need warehouse space.
