Warrenville offers a variety of recreational opportunities throughout town. The City is surrounded by forest preserve, including Blackwell, Warrenville Grove, and Herrick Lake. Throughout town, traverse trails and paths for all to use, including the nationally recognized Illinois Prairie Path. Various parks around town offer children and opportunity to enjoy playground equipment and other amenities. The City's six parks include Lions Park located on the east side of the community, Kiwanis Park on the southwest side, Summerlakes Park on the northwest side, Sesquentienniel Park in the center of town, Leone Schmidt Heritage Park located in the downtown, and Warrenville's premier location, Cerny Park, on the south side of the City.
