  3. Bike Rodeo

    May 19, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ City Hall Parking Lot-Stafford Place

    This year, the Warrenville Park District and the Warrenville Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC) will co-host the thirteenth annual Warrenville Bike Rodeo. There will be some fun giveaways as well as educational materials about bicycle safety. Children will have an opportunity to get their bike tuned up, ride a safety course, and have their helmets fitted. A drawing will be held and children will have the chance to win a new bicycle or helmet! Bring your old and dilapidated bikes to recycle! The Bike Rodeo is free of charge and children may register with their parent or guardian on the day of the event.

  4. Police 2018 Bike Safety Event with Traffic Safety Initiative

    May 19, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Bike Safety Event: City Hall Parking Lot / Traffic Safety Initiative: IL Route 59, between IL RT 56 and Batavia Road.

    The Police Department is pleased to announce the 2018 Bicycle Safety Event held in conjunction with the Pedestrian Advisory Commission/Park District Bike Rodeo. In addition to all regular Bike Rodeo activities, police will be available to register your bike, answer your bike riding law questions, and hand out children's bike safety giveaways and educational materials. A traffic safety initiative is being conducted simultaneously to bring awareness to bicyclist and pedestrian safety throughout the IL RT 59 roadway between the areas of IL RT 56 and Batavia Road. Police will focus on driving infractions that could potentially create, lead up to, or result in a hazard for pedestrians and cyclists.
