Fall Fire Hydrant Flushing Program

Beginning Monday, October 30th, Public Works crews will begin flushing the City’s fire hydrants. The entire process will take approximately three weeks to complete. Hydrant flushing is completed twice a year to expel rust or metal particles, which can cause corrosion, impairing the operation of the hydrants. If you have any questions, regarding this program, please contact the Warrenville Public Works Department at 630-393-9427.
