    This detail will be conducted throughout the City and will include the following high-traffic volume locations (*): Winfield Road near east and westbound entrances to I-88 Illinois toll way, Continental Drive near Johnson Elementary school, Herrick and Warrenville Roads near Hubble Middle school, and Batavia Road between IL Route 56 and IL Route 59.   4. Arbor Day Celebration

    April 29, 2017, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ The Warrenville Park District Recreation Center

    Join the City of Warrenville’s Environmental Advisory Commission (EAC) for the City’s 31st Arbor Day celebration on April 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center at 3S260 Warren Avenue (at Curtis Avenue). A tree dedication ceremony, door prizes, exhibits, and music will be part of the Arbor Day celebration. In addition, complimentary refreshments will be available. Finally, while supplies last, visitors will receive a choice of several native trees and shrubs to take home and plant in their yard to enjoy for years and years to come. The 2017 tree and shrub selection includes: Redbud (Cercis canadensis) River Birch (Betula nigra) Tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera) White Dogwood (Cornus florida) White Pine (Pinus strobus) and compliments of the Park District are: Swamp White Oak (Quercus bicolor) Bur Oak (Quercus Macrocarpa)
